Our experts co-create products with customers to bring innovations to major industry sectors such as transportation, consumer goods, industrial applications, and construction.These solutions contribute to a sustainable future by pushing the boundaries in thermal resistance, robustness and lightweight applications.As a Maintenance Planner for the Houston polyurethanes site, you will build a meaningful career with the opportunity to improve the overall efficiency of the Maintenance Process along with improving the Reliability of the plant.During your straight Monday to Friday day shift as a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler, you will

Plan and Schedule all Maintenance jobs by identifying the parts, skillset, tools, time required for the job, and identify the permit strategy required for jobs.

Schedule all outside service vendors for planned jobs and unplanned jobs.

Be responsible for receiving service and component purchase orders for the maintenance team.

Act as liaison between purchasing and vendors for the proper documentation and acquisition of all planned maintenance materials.

Assist maintenance contractors as required with addressing daily maintenance issues as they arise and breaking the schedule for major breakdowns.

Maintain the site’s PM program in SAP for all new and existing equipment.

Be the primary contact for maintenance contractors and ensure necessary pre-access requirements are met.

Maintain a properly stocked and organized parts inventory for planned maintenance work.

Participate in BASF internal audits such as Responsible Care, PSM, etc. as necessary to present any required maintenance documentation.

Ensure contractor’s compliance with permitting and site EHS policies and procedures.

Assist with production activities during lulls in maintenance activities.

If you

Have a HS Diploma or GED with 1 to 3 years of industrial mechanical experience or have a 2 year Associate degree from a technical school and 1 year of experience in an industrial maintenance position.

Are organized, detail oriented, and able to prioritize tasks and be self-motivated.

Are willing and able to work overtime, weekend work when necessary.

Are experienced in SAP maintenance it would be desired.

Have forklift experience this would be preferred.
