Experience: 10+ years direct experience in mobile solution design and implementation. Minimum 5 years managing a technical team, minimum 5 years of experience as an Architect deploying secure, full-stack Mobile solutions.

Education: BS/MS/ BCA/MCA in relent Engineering or Computer Science degree from an accredited college

Location: Remote until COVID restrictions are lifted otherwise Customer is in

downtown Houston TX

Duties and Responsibilities as Mobile Technical Lead:

• Establish and maintain strong partnership with business owners/product owners. Lead customer interactions and related communications. Must be able to communicate and lead effectively via telephone/remote and in person.
• Work with Business Owners/Product Owners and system leads (including 3rd parties) to logically design and negotiate solutions and participate in the long-term planning for products.
• Ensures commitments are met while providing high quality and cost effective systems that meet customer’s expectations.
• Full stack hand-on mobile development for native mobile app design and implementation (Android), including system analysis, test driven application development, test automation, code review and application maintenance support.
• Proven ability to design, optimize and integrate business processes across disparate systems and mobile technologies
• Adheres to SOLID and Clean Architecture principles

• Demonstrated deployments of enterprise or consumer-facing mobile software systems using industry standard environments for Android, Android OS - 6.0.1 (Marshmallow), 7.1.1(Nougat), 8.1.0(Oreo), 9(Pie)and 10(Android 10)
• Hands on development experience and full understanding of mobile app development pipeline and process including development of applications that interface with backend technologies. Hands-on development using Java/Kotlin
• Provide oversight, leadership and mentoring for team members while leveraging mandated corporate policies and standards. Teams inclusive of: Developers, Testers, Business Analysts, and UX teams
• Excellent analysis skills and the ability to develop processes and methodologies
• Ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies
• Experience with Enterprise Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions development, Enterprise level mobile application integration, Test Automation & Scripting. Troubleshoot debug, and fix issues in production and non-production environments
• Scrum/Agile development Methodologies
• Preparing technical solution and architecture documents, artifacts, work products and presentations for the customer
• Experience in developing reusable artifacts/frameworks, re-usable assets, industry solutions, reference architecture, design, development, and QA best practice
• Understanding various non-functional aspects in mobile application design and provide a solution to optimize performance, scalability etc.
• Take ownership of the solution from end to end, and be responsible for translating functional requirements into a mobile solution
• Ideal candidate will have business domain knowledge and experience with: Fleet Management, Route Intelligence and driver navigation third party solutions.
• Ideal candidate will have experience with integrating mobile apps with third party cloud based PaaS and SaaS third party solutions and/or AWS Cloud services.
• Innovative, creative mindset with a practical focus on delivering rapid business value with each release of software.
• Ideal candidate will have Product Owner experience for Mobile and / or PaaS Solutions.
