Job DescriptionAn employer in downtown Houston, TX or Chicago, IL is looking for a Java Developer to join their team. The Java Developer's role is to plan, design, develop and launch efficient systems and solutions in support of core organizational functions. They will be maintaining and fixing vulnerabilities to the java applications and migrating to .Net. This resource then would be also helping assist in .Net development. The individual will need to apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve complex issues or problems in order to maximize the benefit of IT and Business investments. The day to day will consist of working on legacy applications to identify security issues and vulnerabilities and working to bug fix to ensure the applications are up to date and running as efficiently as possible.
