Job DescriptionAn employer in Downtown Houston, Texas is looking for a Network Design Lead. This person will be responsible for ensuring the stability and integrity of Internet Protocol (IP) voice, IP video and wireless data services. The candidate must have hands on experience with installation, monitoring, maintenance, support and optimization of network hardware, software, and communication links. The day to day will consist of configuring networks to ensure their connectivity so there is a smooth and reliable operation to fulfill business objectives and processes. This person will also be responsible for analyzing current network infrastructure to plan and oversee upgrades or enhancements. This position requires extensive knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP.
