Description Job Description:We are seeking a knowledgeable and organized Network Engineer to join our team. The Network Engineer's role will be critical in designing, implementing, and maintaining our corporate network to provide a seamless flow of data, voice, video, and wireless network services. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining our company's networks, troubleshoot network performance issues, as well as collaborating with executive and management teams on the company's networking needs.Responsibilities:

Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN).

Configure and install software, servers, routers, and other network devices.

Monitor network performance and integrity.

Resolve issues that tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructure.

Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness.

Create, oversee, and test security measures (e.g. access authentication and disaster recovery).

Communicate with users when needed.

Maintain complete technical documentation.

Create network implementation and troubleshooting guides for the support team.

Assist in planning and implementing future IT development projects and infrastructure growth.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Network Engineer, Network Administrator, or similar role.

Professional certification (e.g. CCNP, CCDP) would be a plus.

Solid background in network administration and architecture.

Proficient in network security systems, intrusion detection systems, and data backup.

Good knowledge in networking protocols and services (e.g TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, IPSEC, SNMP, SYSLOG).

Knowledge of coding languages for scripting (e.g Python, Perl).

Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools (e.g. Solarwinds network tools).

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
