The Site Lead Advanced Practitioner Physician’s Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) will support International SOS in providing a comprehensive range of medical care to US government employees and contractors in Iraq. This role includes a blend of patient care, leadership, and administrative responsibilities, ensuring that the clinic operates efficiently while delivering excellent patient outcomes. In conjunction with the project manager the Site Leads oversee clinic operations, personnel, quality management, and administration. Key Responsibilities:Lead and oversee medical staff at a Directorate of Simulation (DOS) and DOS clinics. Collaborate with on-site physicians, physician assistants, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care. Participate in the assessment and stabilization of patients requiring urgent or emergent care. Provide comprehensive primary and continuing care to patients presenting with a wide range of health concerns. Clinic services include, but are not limited to health promotion and disease prevention, health maintenance counselling and patient education, diagnosis and directed physical exams, emergent and annual vaccinations, comprehensive STD Testing Manage simple chronic conditions through intermittent monitoring. Consult and collaborate with other healthcare professionals. Maintain compliance with all project site procedures, standards, and continuing educational and mandatory training requirements. Coordinate with medical evacuation teams for patients requiring care beyond the capabilities of the clinic. Participate in MASCAL exercises.
