Description Experienced OT (Operational Technology) security engineer capable of working collaboratively with multiple teams for effective results. Accountable for the strategic implementation of the OT security program and its incessant enhancement. Detect threats and vulnerabilities, then deploy skills to implement controls to counter such dangers.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSMonitor and enhance OT security solutions and processes on the basis of credible threats and vulnerabilities. Utilize threat modeling to analyze existing and future technological threats to business operations. Act as the primary contact for OT security incidents, develop and exercise incident response playbooks, develop OT disaster recovery strategies, align with organization-wide continuity plans, and utilize learned lessons for betterment. Support OT teams with security “by design” practices, ensuring systems adhere to optimal security protection and prevention practices. Formulate and administer OT security policies, procedures, and documentation. Participate in internal and external audits as required, using audit findings to enhance security stance. Develop project documentation to promote safety procedures in projects across the company. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to comprehend the industry, regulatory and compliances implications; align security posture accordingly. Collect information from trusted partners, government agencies, and other sources to give advice on potential security defenses and threats. Contribute to OT security governance and long-term risk management strategy. Supervise internal OT security team, suppliers, and third-party contractors to synchronize work and plan activities.ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTSAdept at handling a fast-paced, operations-centered business unit with emphasis on safety and strategic thinking. Skillful in addressing and solving complex multi-system issues. Expertise in managing OT security risks, both hybrid on-premises and cloud environments (Azure IaaS and PaaS).Useful qualifications include CISSP, GSEC, Security+, SSCP, CCSP, and Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert.Requirements Candidates should preferably hold a Bachelor of Computer Science or Information Security and have a minimum of 5+ years' experience in this or similar roles. Previous experience in other IT/OT roles is beneficial, such as OT system engineer or administrator, network administrator, cloud engineer, could be used in lieu of degree.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSIndustry certifications like CISSP, GSEC, Security+, SSCP, or CCSP are desirable, especially if combined with specialized certifications like Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert.
