Patient Care Technician - G15 Myeloma/LymphomaShift: Evening/Night. 7PM - 7AM, 3PM - 11PM, 11PM - 7AM.A combination of 2 twelve and 2 eight hour shifts per week, with rotating weekends and holidays.SUMMARYFunction: Provides patient care services as assigned by a registered nurse.Scope: Impacts patient comfort and outcome of care.Essential Job Functions:· Acts as member of a multidisciplinary team that identifies and addresses patient care needs.· Assists in completion of activities of daily living, mobilization, admit/discharge and obtaining vital signs.· Updates and retrieves patient information.· Ensures patient environment is maintained in a clean, safe and orderly manner.· Acts as part of an assigned care team.· Other duties as assigned.SUPERVISIONReceived: Directly from a registered nurse.Given: None.REQUIREMENTSEducation Required: High school diploma or equivalent.Education Preferred: None.Experience Required: NoneExperience Preferred: Experience in an acute care setting as a Nursing AssistantLicensure/Certification Required: None.Licensure/Certification Preferred: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).Other Required: Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.Refer to the Position Description for specific ADA requirements, and working conditions.Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
