Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Specialist in the Energy/Natural Resources industry located in Houston, Texas. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be tasked with the responsibility of managing payroll operations for a large number of employees across multiple states. Responsibilities: Accurately process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 700 employees and monthly payroll for approximately 50 employees Utilize ADP to manage payroll operations effectively Oversee overtime calculations and ensure accurate compensation Maintain a hybrid work schedule to facilitate flexible operations Utilize Accounting Software Systems to manage financial tasks Perform necessary auditing tasks related to payroll Administer benefits, including 401k - RRSP Maintain accurate records of accounting functions Respond to inquiries related to payroll and benefits Use Ceridian and Dayforce for additional payroll and HR functions Requirements Comprehensive understanding and hands-on experience with Accounting Software Systems Proficiency in using ADP - Financial Services for payroll management Mastery of ADP Workforce Now software for efficient payroll processing Familiarity with Ceridian payroll solutions Experience with Dayforce for integrated human capital management Knowledge in 401k - RRSP Administration for employee benefits management Familiarity with About Time software for time and attendance tracking Proficiency in various Accounting Functions related to payroll Experience in Auditing payroll and related financial documents Understanding of Benefit Functions and their administration in payroll.
