Marriott Westchase Hotel is looking for Full-Time Restaurant/Lobby PM Bartender!We are a full service hotel that is looking for an experienced hotel or restaurant bartender to work in our lobby/restaurant bar PM shift. Various Week & Weekend Evenings - Shifts starting at 3:00 PM and end up to 12:30 AM. You will be responsible to deliver and serve beverages items to staff and guests in a friendly, timely and efficient manner, meeting the brands high standards of service and quality. Key Duties:
Prepare and set up bar to meet event specifications.
Promptly greet event guests with a friendly and sincere welcome
Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages.
Learn event drinks and food menu for knowledge of items to assist guest.
Respond to special request in a positive, friendly and timely manner
Strictly follow TABC laws and rules along with hotel policies for serving alcohol beverages.
Use intervention techniques to prevent serving to minors and intoxicated guest.
Breakdown and/or Assist with side work.
Adheres to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis
Perform any other job related duties as assigned.

Must have TABC & Food Handler certifications
Ability to read, write and speak the English language sufficient to understand job requests from supervisor as well as understand menus, record orders/requests, communicate with guest to explain orders.
Standing for long periods, up to entire shift, with frequent bending, squatting, and side-to-side movement.
Able to extending arms; frequent bending and stooping and ability to push, pull, carry and/or lift up to 25 lbs without assistance and up to 50 lbs with assistance.
Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
All employees must maintain high standards of personal appearance, which includes a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance (specific standards available).
Prior customer service, hospitality and/or server experience preferred.
