The Senior Application Analyst provides technical and development expertise in the activities of software application design, implementation, issue resolution and support. This position may be directly involved in formulating and defining system scope and objectives based on user needs and guidelines set forth in the Institution Project Management Methodology. This position is directly involved with the installation, modification, testing, implementation, and maintenance of purchased vendor software and in-house developed applications. The primary purpose of the Senior Applications Systems Analyst position is to manage and coordinate all operational user service of the supported systems. Responsible for the support model related to the systems. Provide customer-focused, proactive systems management processes and policies to ensure maximum server health and availability. This position is classified as essential. The employee must be available for Hurricane Ride Team assignment and or Hurricane Recovery Team assignment per institutional policies. The position requires carrying a pager at all times and working varied hours as needed, including Saturdays, Sundays and holidays to complete assigned tasks and project deliverables on schedule.
