Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Owner with specialized knowledge in AWS and Snowflake to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions that leverage AWS and Snowflake to optimize data management and analytics. This individual will work with pertinent stakeholders to identify appropriate and necessary data and reporting requirements and turn them into actionable deliverables for the respective engineering teams.II. Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. Other ancillary duties may be assigned.

Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, prioritize, and document business requirements.

Process Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of business problems, propose data-driven solutions, create and present business cases to support project proposals and decision-making.

Solution Design: Collaborate with development and architect teams to design solutions that meet business requirements and transform those requirements into technical specifications.

Stakeholder Communication: Serve as primary liaison between technical teams and business owners to reach business user sign off acceptance

Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive business process documentation, including requirements, process flow definitions, business process mapping, functional specifications, Jira user stories, and use cases.

Project Support: Assist in project planning by monitoring and reporting on project progress, identifying risks and issues, and recommending corrective actions to project managers.

Leadership: Serve as a Team Lead to oversee the work of data engineering teams and sustain teams, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure high-quality on-time deliverables.

Testing: Collaborate with testing teams to formulate proper test plans to ensure solutions meet business requirements.

Deployment: Plan and coordinates deployment plans.

III. Supervisory ResponsibilitiesWill coach and mentor less experienced analysts and act as team leader on more complicated systems projects.IV. QualificationsThe requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.A. Education and ExperienceEducation: Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration or similar area of study or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four years of relevant work experience.Experience: Eight years of relevant work experience as a IT Business Analyst (in addition to education requirement). Four years working as an IT Manager/Project Manager may substitute for the minimum years of experience.B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other RequirementsNone required.C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required

Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex data projects.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into data solutions.

Proficiency with AWS services and offerings and Snowflake.

Proficiency with business analysis tools and techniques, such as data modeling, data replication, data security and understanding data integration techniques.

Solid understanding of data management methodologies, including ETL and ELT processes, data warehousing, data governance, SDLC, and Agile.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
