Job Position: PRODUCTION ENGINEER - ETOJob Overview

The qualified person will work in the Engineered-To-Order Crane division in Houston (ETO) as part of Engineered Solutions. This individual should be detail-oriented and creative professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This person communicates on a regular basis with project engineers, project managers, manufacturing and purchasing to ensure the project continues to move per schedule. This individual is responsible for driving the release of Bills-of-Materials on schedule, to ensure materials are available when the crane is scheduled for manufacturing. Responsibilities and Duties

 Work in Teamcenter (ERP System) and SAP environment.Take the Engineering Bill of Material (EBOM) from Engineering/Teamcenter and output the Manufacturing Bill of Material (MBOM) for SAP so it can be used by Purchasing & Manufacturing Planning.Configure the MBOM and determine Make/Buy assignments.Maintain SAP material extensions and routings.Take engineering changes from EBOM that occur during the lifecycle of a project and create updated MBOM for inputting into SAP ensuring parts are not duplicated or missed. Provide other support and expertise as directed by their supervisor.Active communication between engineering, production and purchasing.
