Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Programmer Analyst in Houston, Texas. This position is within the telecom industry and will involve a flexible hybrid work model. The individual in this role will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining software applications and systems.Responsibilities: Working in an Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment and utilizing tools such as Amazon EC2 Downloading and compiling code, managing and running EC2 boxes, and handling REPOS Performing unit testing and building test cases with Selenium Engaging in client-facing communication and meetings, understanding and responding to client needs Collaborating with offshore developers as well as the local team based in Houston Bringing innovative ideas to improve functionality and meet client requirements Understanding and engaging in the business analyst role by asking questions, providing solutions, and interacting with developers Contributing to the transformation into a DevOps environment and participating in weekly releases and continuous deployments. Requirements Applicant must possess significant proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS) Experience with Amazon EC2 is essential Profound knowledge of programming languages is a must Demonstrable experience as a Programmer Analyst or similar role Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is required Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically Knowledge of data structures and algorithms Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Capable of managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot complex software issues Solid understanding of software development principles and best practices Willingness to keep up with the latest technological advancements and trends in the field.
