Quality Assurance Health Compliance Specialist

This Position is Contingent on Contract Award. This position is in support of a proposed repatriation initiative.  The purpose of the facilities is to provide comprehensive care for migrant individuals who are awaiting reunification or repatriation.  This care will begin as soon as each occupant arrives at the facility and will last until their arranged departure. The comprehensive care includes but is not limited to initial screening and exams, identifications of prior conditions and allergies, day to day care of routine, urgent and emergency medical conditions.     The Quality Assurance Health Compliance Specialist is an essential role in the coordination, implementation, and evaluation of quality improvement, patient safety, process improvement and training throughout the project.  The Quality Assurance Health Compliance Specialist assists with the management of quality measures for the project and compliance with regulatory, internal International SOS, and any other programs deemed essential for quality care and patient safety by project leadership. They actively engage with the clinical leadership and staff to provide guidance and monitor workflow processes and assists with the development and implementation of strategies focused on quality improvement goals.Key ResponsibilitiesIn conjunction with the Director of Nursing and Chief Medical Officer, facilitates activities related to quality and performance improvement programs in accordance with the requirements of International SOS CQMP. Responsible for general orientation and in-service education for all levels of medical personnel, and for coordination of in-service programs for all departments. Responsible for becoming one of the super-users for our EMR and for general orientation of the cloud-based program for the staff. Supports the reporting of data to outside agencies. Supports project leadership with training and development of clinical competencies and ensuring these are completed annually. Demonstrates respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors, and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible, and courteous environment. This list is non-exhaustive, and the role holder may be required to undertake additional duties that are not specifically listed above.
