Job Title: Receiving InspectorJob DescriptionSeeking a quality receiving inspector to perform visual and dimensional inspections on incoming materials and parts. The inspector will assist the NDE inspector with liquid penetrant testing when needed, including spraying the penetrant onto the weld, letting it sit for 15 minutes, spraying it off, and recording the results. The inspector will take pictures of the material and results, and organize them in job folders for record keeping. The primary task is to ensure material grades and pipe schedules match requirements, verify dimensions, and record results. They will match MTR to chemical testing to verify accuracy and use Positive Material Identification (PMI) to analyze and identify material grade and alloy composition for quality. Familiarity with this process is a plus.Hard Skills
