A Retail Regional Manager collaborates with the Vice President of Retail to manage a portfolio of shopping centers across a designated territory. As a leader, you will oversee security operations, provide world class service to clients and drive profitable business growth within various retail markets.RESPONSIBILITIES:

Directing multi-functional Account Manager and security teams while simultaneously working with mall management to achieve common goals of a safe and secure center.

Responsible for supervising, motivating, coaching and training assigned on-site management employees.

Travel to client locations and industry related conferences and events to strengthen customer relationships, provide solutions to critical situations and ensure overall client and employee satisfaction

First point of contact for on-site Security Directors regarding performance, operations, emergency response, and department needs.

Provide 24/7 critical incident communications to client management as well as Allied Universal senior leadership.

Coordinates all aspects of executing the security program based on client expectations at the assigned locations, which includes managing potential threats, incident reporting, incident investigations, law enforcement relationships, etc.

Work with AUS On-Site Management to conduct ongoing risk analysis’s and make direct recommendations to limit security vulnerabilities & mitigate risk.

Maintain professional relationships with local, State and Federal law enforcement agencies.

Responsible for Fire/Life Safety issues at all customer locations, and direct the implementation of such programs, utilizing corporate resources where applicable.

Fully involved in Active Shooter/Emergency Response exercise planning and execution. Serve as senior observer/controller and assist Director in conducting action reviews.

Accountable for implementing and ensuring ongoing compliance with all Federal, State, and local statues, client and AUS procedures, company policies, training and safety programs, etc.

Responsible for ensuring ongoing compliance with all aspects of the SAFETY Act Certification to include Training, Safety Program, Crime Trend Analysis, Risk Reduction, Quality Assurance, Regular Meetings/Calls between Regional Manager/Clients, Tenant Liaison, Emergency Exercises/Drills, Regularly Published Bulletins/Directives, Weekly Unannounced Inspections (Security Director) and Regional Manager Site Visits (to include inspections and audits)

As part of our SAFETY Act certification, conducts twice annual inspections/audits, which include reviewing operational records and reports, compliance with manuals, company instructions, policies, procedures, and regulations, with an eye toward detecting deviations from operational practices. Prepares directives/action plans to eliminate infractions, and addresses any gaps, weaknesses, and any other areas where improvement is needed.

Manage the P&L and drive financial performance through budget allocation, revenue growth, profitability, maintaining cost controls, to achieve all financial targets

Works closely with on-site Account Management staff, to ensure sound financial management principles and practices are in place, to include report review and other measurement tools (such as Domo, WinTeam, SARs, etc.) are in place and being used/followed.

Directs and administers the core administrative function of the assigned accounts related to proper employee timekeeping, employee payroll, client billing, accounts receivable, etc.

Examine Accounts Receivable balances daily/weekly, and take timely action to ensure accurate invoices are paid timely and corrections made promptly to invoices unpaid due to billing errors and/or disputes.

Monitor financial performance of all assigned accounts on a weekly, monthly, quarterly basis to include measuring performance to plan, to include researching reasons behind under-performance, explaining these reasons to senior leadership, along with articulating and implementing a plan to solve issues and close gaps.

In depth knowledge of all Service Agreement terms and conditions are necessary, to include contracted security hours, pay & bill rates, and provisions defining what is billed as incurred or included in the rate

Responsible for driving account wage/bill rate increases, contract renewals, and re-bids, to include bid strategy, RFP review, proposal development, and ensuring that an acceptable services agreement (contract) or contract amendment is properly executed.

Assists the Senior Vice President in business unit growth and expansion by networking with current clients and industry colleagues, personally contacting new prospective clients, developing a strategy to obtain their business, carrying out that strategy, and selling the account.

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

Must possess one or more of the following:

Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, business or a related field with five (3) years of management experience in a high-volume workforce environment or service industry

Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice, Business or a related field with seven (5) years of management experience in a high-volume workforce environment or service industry

High School diploma with ten (7) years of management experience in a high-volume workforce environment or service industry

Current driver’s license if driving a company vehicle, or personal vehicle in the course of conducting business (e.g., client visits, attending networking events)

Minimum of two (2) years of experience, driving operational and financial metrics while demonstrating strong financial acumen

Minimum of (2) years of experience in successfully building and developing teams

Leadership skills that foster teamwork, innovation, agility, client relations and achieving desired results

Ability to collaborate across multiple business units and regions to creatively support client's growth and satisfaction

Results-oriented problem-solving skills that meet client and employee needs, while running a profitable business

Proficiency in web-based applications and computer systems, including Microsoft Office and (BI) Business Intelligence tools for metrics analysis, reporting, automation, and presentations

Dynamic networking skills displaying a commitment to safety and trust by participating in local community, client and industry events

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

Law enforcement, military, mall security and/or contract or proprietary security services experience

Experience managing a dispersed workforce in a multi-location operation

ASIS Board Certified Protection Professional (CPP) a big plus.
