RNs will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of military and civilian healthcare professionals to deliver timely and individualized interventions, ensuring optimal outcomes for our patients in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role involves conducting thorough assessments, educating patients about their conditions, monitoring treatment responses, managing complex gastrointestinal issues, and implementing protocols to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all individuals in our care.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care to individuals with gastrointestinal disorders, conducting thorough assessments and continuous monitoring of their physical health and treatment responses. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans that address the specific needs of each patient. Adhere to strict safety and infection control protocols to ensure a secure and supportive environment for both patients and staff. Monitor, document, and communicate patient progress and any significant changes accurately and in real-time to facilitate timely interventions. Prepare, manage, and operate necessary medical equipment and supplies relevant to gastroenterology procedures and treatments. Actively support the healthcare team during critical situations by anticipating needs and providing prompt assistance. Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, dietary modifications, recovery expectations, and available resources for ongoing support and care. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with institutional policies and gastroenterology best practices. Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records in accordance with healthcare standards and regulations to promote high-quality patient care. This list is non-exhaustive, and the role holder may be required to undertake additional duties that are not specifically listed above.
