Title: Robotic Systems Analyst Location: Johnson Space Center, TX Clearance: National Agency Check and Inquiries (NACI) with ability to obtain a Security Clearance Citizenship Requirement: US Req #: 3718 Salary: $73K Summary: Craig Technologies has an opening for a Robotic Systems Analyst at Johnson Space Center, TX. Detailed Description: This position is on the Integrated Mission Operations Contract (IMOC III) which provides flight control and training support to the International Space Station (ISS) Operations, Exploration, Commercial Crew Program, Gateway, xEVA and Human Landing System (HLS) within the NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC) Flight Operations Directorate (FOD). The candidate will be assigned to the Robotics Systems Group within the EVA, Robotics, and Crew Systems Division as a programmer. Candidate must possess skills in programing with one or more of the following languages: JAVA, Python, C, C, and/or MATLAB. Any additional experience with automation and Virtual Reality is highly desired. The candidate may train to perform robotics procedure development by designing robotics maneuvers supporting Realtime operations. This is contingent on the individuals interests and the group’s needs. The candidate will interface with the NASA customer daily as well as many other engineering organizations and payload customers. The Robotics (ROBO) team is responsible for all aspects of the operation and management of the MSS robotics system hardware and software. Additional duties require supporting meetings and concisely reporting results to team-members and management, writing system briefs and console procedures, developing MCC displays, console tools, cue cards, and making oral presentations. Occasional domestic and international travel may be required. Position Requirements: Required Work and Skills Experience: Requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or other technically related area knowledge of engineering principles and the ability to apply them to real-time operations excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, leadership, teamwork, technical, and administrative skills attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and strict adherence to deadlines with the ability to successfully work/negotiate daily with multiple customers a team-focus and be able to adapt quickly to a highly collaborative efforts across multiple organizations demonstrated ability to plan, lead, and coordinate a wide range of tasks the ability to successfully progress through assigned tasks and required job duties ability to apply technical knowledge and operations concepts to exercise effective decision making and initiative. demonstrated skills of a self-starter who excels in a dynamic environment that requires them to work effectively both alone or as part of a team demonstrated ability to effectively receive and give feedback while maintaining a positive attitude Successful candidates must be a US Citizen and be able to apply for and successfully receive and maintain security clearance per eligibility requirements. This position requires successful completion of a government background check before commencement of employment. Candidate is required to pass a standard flight controller physical examination and pass security clearances.
