About the RoleThe Scaled Account Manager role is a great opportunity to demonstrate your relationship management skill set. The role focuses on the post-sale relationship with small-to-medium-sized restaurant partners across the South West Uber Eats region. Scaled Account Manager are critical to retaining our merchants and improving their experience as a UE partner. This role has the potential to help partners grow, consult on best practices, improve restaurant operations, diagnose support cases and gain expertise of the UE product and demand generation features.We are looking for someone with an outstanding work ethic, attention to detail and excellent communication skills who is based near Phoenix, AZ. This role will be required to work onsite in our Phoenix office 50% of working days with anchor days being Tuesdays and Thursdays. The other days the employee will have the privilege of working remotely.What You'll DO

Troubleshoot support cases and merchant feedback to solve problems

Mitigate merchant-caused order failures and suggest improvements to merchant operations

Increase product adoption across the South West through scaled outreach

Work cross-functionally with support teams and account managers to drive solutions to complex restaurant problems

Proactively maintain communication channels with merchants through email and phone

Ask the right questions and have a passion for discovery to overcome objections and understand the customer's needs

Act as an ambassador of Uber Eats' mission, brand and product

Basic Qualifications

At least 1 year of experience in a client-facing role (operations, account management, customer success, customer support or similar function)

Experience communicating with clients through phone and email

Pre Qualifications

Strong critical thinking ability

Ability to navigate difficult conversations and mitigate churn within a book of business

Proficiency in Salesforce and Google Suite products

For Austin, TX-based roles: The base hourly rate range for this role is USD$31.98 per hour - USD$33.78 per hour. For Houston, TX-based roles: The base hourly rate range for this role is USD$31.98 per hour - USD$33.78 per hour. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
