Our ideal candidate is seeking challenging work and is committed to quality.Your Impact Work to identify/develop new clients for our environmental business including networking outside and inside WSP Manage environmental projects involving site characterization, remedial design, and environmental compliance, being responsible for ensuring that deliverables, schedules and budgets are achieved Perform field work for site characterization and site remediation projects including oversight of subcontractors and sampling of soil, soil vapor, sediment, surface water and groundwater in accordance with state and Federal regulations and generally accepted protocols Data analysis and reporting for specific environmental project tasks with minimal supervision including, recommend remedial solutions to technical problems in accordance with accepted scientific/engineering practices and principles Provide technical review for projects to comply with environmental laws, company standards, contract requirements and related specifications Will travel to project sites primarily in Texas and occasionally across the mountain states of the West. Minimal overnight travel Developing and maintaining communication channels with clients, stake holders, and internal personnel to ensure that work flows smoothly as well as providing first class engineering services Mentoring and training junior internal personnel to groom individuals as well as complete project teams to become more prepared to take on additional roles and responsibilities Managing and coordinating project teams, including ensuring the technical quality of deliverables Collaboration and participation in technical discussions with team members Business development to pursue and grow clients in the public or private sector Manage proposal preparation including innovative technical approaches and competitive pricing. Will prepare and perform client presentations. Manage technical, budgetary and schedule performance to achieve client satisfaction and repeat business. Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needsWho YOU areRequired Qualifications

B.S. or M.S. degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Engineering or other related fields

PG or PE required, in state of Texas desired

Minimum 5 years of post-education experience with increasing responsibility

Strong background providing environmental consulting services to clients in the industrial/commercial, mining, energy and government sectors

Demonstrated scientific or engineering expertise with Federal, State and Local environmental regulations including TRRP.

Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with field investigations associated with environmental site assessments, site remediation, field management, sampling etc.

Project Management experience including deliverables, schedules and budgets Must be a self-starter, team oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills

Business development experience and demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships as well as experience in proposal preparation.

Excellent computer skills including proficiency with the use of standard software packages including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Ability to travel to project sites primarily in Texas and occasionally across the mountain states of the West. Minimal overnight travel

Must pass background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR) policy
