Senior Scheduler

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Scheduler to drive the successful completion of our heavy civil construction projects. This role involves creating and managing project schedules while keeping things running smoothly across various teams. You’ll act as the go-to expert for analyzing and adapting project timelines, ensuring schedules are on target, and addressing challenges as they arise. If you thrive in high-stress environments, have a keen eye for detail, and work well with minimal oversight, this might be the perfect fit.What You’ll Do:

Build and Maintain Schedules: Using software like Primavera P6, you’ll design, update, and optimize project schedules to align with project goals.

Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to keep everyone aligned and ensure scheduling meets project needs.

Monitor and Report: Track project progress, spot potential issues, and develop actionable plans. You’ll also prepare regular reports, including critical path and progress updates for senior management and clients.

Resource Allocation: Evaluate resource needs and ensure they’re effectively allocated for timely project completion.

Identify and Mitigate Risks: Anticipate and address scheduling risks to minimize any impact on project timelines.

Manage Changes: Assess how changes to project scope, design, or resources affect timelines and make necessary adjustments.

Document Project Details: Keep meticulous records of schedules, changes, and performance metrics to support project tracking and analysis.

Lead Improvements: Stay up to date on best practices and industry trends, implementing improvements to enhance our scheduling processes.

What You Bring:

Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred.

Experience: At least 8-10 years in scheduling for heavy civil construction, with proven experience managing complex timelines.

Technical Skills: Proficient in Primavera P6 and knowledgeable about construction methodologies and critical path analysis.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to analyze data to make sound decisions.

Communication Skills: Strong communicator who can work with diverse stakeholders and clearly convey complex information.
