This position will support the US Department of Veterans Affairs Critical Staffing Program.  The person in this position will represent International SOS and provide services outlined below: International SOS is looking for an individual who is an experienced Social Worker to provide care for VA members and their families. Social workers support individuals and communities by providing guidance, resources, and advocacy to enhance their well-being and address social issues. They work in various settings, helping people navigate challenges related to mental health, family dynamics, poverty, and more. Key Responsibilities:Assess clients' needs and develop personalized intervention plans. Provide counseling and support to individuals and families. Advocate for clients' rights and access to services. Collaborate with healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations. Maintain accurate and confidential client records. Monitor client progress and adjust interventions as necessary. Educate clients and communities about available resources and services. Conduct outreach and community engagement activities. Participate in professional development and training opportunities. Adhere to ethical guidelines and standards of practice in social work.
