Sr IT Business Partner Manager, Smart Energy

Lead our IT operations team, with a strong emphasis on aligning technology solutions with business objectives. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of cloud hosting services, specifically Azure and Google Cloud, alongside expertise in anti-virus patching, vulnerability management, and server operating systems. The ideal candidate will ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of our IT infrastructure while supporting the strategic goals of the organization.Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Management: Oversee and manage Azure and Google Cloud environments, ensuring they support business operations effectively, optimize costs, and scale according to business needs.

Vulnerability Management: Identify and address vulnerabilities in the IT infrastructure, implementing necessary patches and updates to mitigate risks that could impact business continuity.

Anti-Virus and Security: Develop and enforce policies for anti-virus patching and security best practices, ensuring all systems are secure to protect company data and maintain client trust.

Business Alignment: Collaborate with business units to understand their IT needs and provide technology solutions that enhance productivity and support strategic initiatives.

Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the IT operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement to drive operational excellence.

System Monitoring: Monitor server operating systems for performance, uptime, and security, proactively addressing issues that could affect business operations.

Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of IT processes, procedures, and configurations to ensure compliance and facilitate business continuity planning.

Project Management: Lead IT projects related to infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, and system improvements, ensuring alignment with business priorities and timely delivery.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with executives and department leaders to communicate IT strategies, manage expectations, and deliver solutions that support overall business goals.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in IT operations, with a focus on cloud services and server management.

Strong understanding of Azure and Google Cloud hosting services and how they can drive business value.

Experience with anti-virus software, patch management, and vulnerability assessment tools.

Proficiency in server operating systems (Windows, Linux).

Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.

Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Google Cloud Professional, ITIL) are a plus.
