Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Systems Administrator located in Houston, Texas. The role involves managing the systems side of our operations, with a focus on vulnerability and patch management for servers and systems. The role also includes administrating policies in O365 and responding to audits. This position is 100% on-site.Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the systems side of operations, ensuring efficient and secure system performance. Conduct vulnerability and patch management for servers and systems, identifying and addressing potential security risks. Administrate policies in O365, implementing and maintaining policies as per organizational needs and requirements. Respond to audits, addressing findings and implementing corrective actions as needed. Write and document security policies, contributing to the overall governance of our IT infrastructure. Focus on servers and platforms, detecting vulnerabilities and implementing measures to mitigate risks. Use skills such as Active Directory, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Deployments, Windows Defender, MS Office 365, Security Vulnerability, Vulnerability Analysis, Vulnerability Assessment to perform tasks and duties efficiently and eRequirements Must possess proficiency in Active Directory Demonstrated experience with Computer Hardware is required Solid understanding of Configuration Management is essential Must have experience in Deployments Knowledge of Windows Defender is a must Strong skills in MS Office 365 are necessary Must have experience in Security Vulnerability Ability to perform Vulnerability Analysis is required Must have experience in Vulnerability Assessment Should hold a relevant degree or equivalent work experience in the field of system administration Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Must be able to work effectively in a team setting Should be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly Experience in the education industry is a plus Must be legally authorized to work in the country without sponsorship Must pass all compliance and security checks.
