Sam Houston Parkway E., Houston, TX 77032 Duties: Responsibilities include: Focus on delivering key technologies to the overall technical software architecture. Perform story/requirement specific development. Maintain existing codebase by working on bug fixes. Mentor/train new developers and pair programming with other developers for training purposes. Maintain code quality by performing code reviews. Make stories/requirements ready for work and doing refinement meetings with product owner. Identify and eliminate programming roadblocks and provide framework code as necessary for new features. Make architecture related decisions and prototyping of new technologies. Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or related field and 10 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Development related occupation.Position also requires:

Experience with C# ,.Net Framework and .Net Core

Experience with ASP.Net

Experience with Message Queuing

Experience with Asynchronous programming and event driven techniques using .Net framework

Experience with software development in object-oriented design and traditional design patterns usage in mid-to-large size applications

Experience with Domain Driven Design in development

Experience with unit testing in application development

Oil and Gas experience including drilling or geological related applications development

Experience in agile/scrum teams preferably using Azure DevOps

Experience with using NoSQL database

  • At Houston Methodist, the Mental Health Technician/Assistant (MHT/Asst) position demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to communicate effectively and carry out delegated tasks for population-specific patients. This position functions under the guidance and supervision of the registered nurse in meeting the physiological and psychosocial needs of the patient. The MHT/Asst position records data and performs treatments and procedures in accordance with established policies and procedures and reports observations and patient problems to the nurse and utilizes therapeutic communication techniques. Overseeing multiple priorities, the MHT/Asst position must be able to perform the duties and functions of a Unit Administrative Assistant position and/or Patient Care Assistant position. This position may involve travel to conduct home visits. Other duties for the MHT/Asst position include serving as a mentor to MHT\'s, utilizing skills and knowledge, helping to train and orient others.
