Anderson Cancer Center is to eliminate cancer in Texas, the nation, and the world through outstanding programs that integrate patient care, research and prevention, and through education for undergraduate and graduate students, trainees, professionals, employees and the public.The Transplantation Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the bone marrow, stem cell and blood transplantation program for MDACC patients:

Coordinates patient benefits; ensures financial clearance. Arranges or physically couriers donor products.

Travels nationally and internationally with little notice to courier, monitor and manipulate donor products to ensure viability.

Maintains donor and recipient confidentiality. Responsible for collection and submission of charges for search process.

Educates patients and general public regarding the transplantation/search process.
