Job Description: Bilingual Counter Service/Kitchen Help (Evenings Wed-Sunday 3pm-9pm)

This role requires to be fully bilingual in Spanish & effectively communicate in English and Spanish (Bilingual Counter Service/Kitchen Help) role is to provide friendly customer service at all times. This includes friendly and timely interaction with customers and coworkers, suggestive selling, answering questions about the menu.
Required Duties and Responsibilities:
Timely arrival to work
Well-groomed, shorts or pants and a company issued shirt
Always demonstrate a positive attitude, willing to help out where needed.
Adherence to company, state, and county sanitation standards
Follows directions and duties assigned by management
Maintains a clean work area during the shift.
Knowledgeable of restaurant menu and able to suggest other food items to enhance the dining experience.
Assists other team members in taking care of guests, cleaning and maintaining tables when needed.
Understands basic money handling and can make proper change.
Must be flexible in schedule requirements as hours may fluctuate due to crawfish season & catering events.
Work well with all types of customers and co-workers.
Assist other employees to complete any tasks during shift.
Willing to clean all areas of the restaurant as needed.
Currently able to serve alcohol having TAB certification
Ability to stand and/or walk throughout the entire shift and work in a restaurant environment
Minimal Requirements:ยท
Ability to effectively communicate in English and Spanish
Ability to see, hear, read, and write in English
Previous restaurant experience preferred but not required.
Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal direction.
Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests, other employees and managers.
Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system.
Customer Centric Attitude.
EDUCATION/TRAINING/WORK EXPERIENCE
6 mos. to 2 years related experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Able to obtain Food Handlers Certificate within two weeks of employment
