SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Offer exceptional service to guests at all times.
Welcome guests as they enter and guide them throughout the 16 Handles journey.
Answer questions about nutritional information, allergens, and the self-serve process.
Provide samples when requested.
Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude.
Promote new products, partnerships, and LTOs (limited time offerings).
Respond to guest needs and resolve problems quickly and kindly.
Prepare all products following proper procedures and recipes.
Operate POS system to process cash and credit card transactions.
Handle delivery platforms and process orders.
Prioritize important tasks and manage time effectively.
Adhere to brand standards and systems.
Follow food safety and quality standards.
Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in all areas.
JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 16 years old

Shift lead:
Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:
During shift, directs team members to various workstations to reduce bottlenecks and to ensure speed of service, cleanliness standards, and operational needs are met.
Creates a positive learning environment by providing clear, specific, timely, and respectful coaching and feedback to team members on shift to ensure operational excellence and to improve team member performance.
Develops positive relationships with shift team by understanding and addressing individual motivation, needs, and concerns.
Executes store operations during scheduled shifts. Organizes opening and closing duties as assigned.
Follows operational procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all team members during the shift. Utilizes operational tools to achieve operational excellence during the shift.
Follows all cash management and cash register policies and ensures proper cash management practices are followed by shift team.
Acts with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission of 16 Handles. Maintains a calm exterior presence during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the shift team.
Delivers legendary guest service to all guests by acting with a “guest comes first” attitude and by connecting with the guest. Discovers and responds to guest needs. Follows up with team members during the shift to ensure the delivery of legendary guest service for all guests.
Assists with new team member training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed. Provides feedback to general manager on team member performance during shift.
Provides quality products consistently for all guests by adhering to all standards. Follows health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
Anticipates guest and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and guests for cues. Communicates information to manager so that the team can respond as necessary to create the 16 Handles environment during each shift.
Recognizes and reinforces individual and team accomplishments by using existing organizational tools and by collaborating with general manager to find new, creative, and impactful methods of recognition.
Contributes to positive team environment by recognizing alarms or changes in team member morale and performance and communicating them to the general manager.
Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE
1 year guest service experience in a retail or restaurant environment.
