This position is for a LIVE-IN CAREGIVER who is a Non-Smoker . We are located in the North Houston near FM 1960 and TC Jester area or Conroe, TX with Care Cottages Assisted Living Homes.

How much do I make per month?
Salary: $21,060-$35,000/year
This is a salary position that pays overtime. This means that based on your salary you will make $2000-$3100+ per month depending on how many hours you work in a week. Plus you get extra Bonus Pay.
So how much is this hourly
This is a salary position not hourly. However, if you calculate the average amount per hour from that it is about $10-$14/hr. .
Pay Frequency: Biweekly (Twice Monthly)
We are looking for an experienced and competent caregiver/personal care assistant to support physically or mentally challenged elderly residents in their everyday lives. The fulfillment and satisfaction that comes with helping others surpasses the challenges of this job. If you’re a compassionate, positive person who isn’t afraid to work hard, then this is a job for you. We expect you to be polite and a good communicator. Experience in housekeeping tasks and caring for the elderly or sick will make you a strong candidate. Live-In Personal Care Attendant must be able to take care of up to 6 clients by oneself effectively.
We are a non-smoking facility. Mature adults, Ages 25+ Preferred.
Live-In Personal Care Attendants work 6-7 days on and 2-4 days off. During your shift of 6-7 days you must "live-in" at the facility and cannot leave until the entire shift is over. On days off the personal care attendant will go home. You will be paid for working 12 hours a day, although you will most likely physically work 7-9 hours per day. Our personal care attendants earn at least 20 hours of consistent overtime or more every pay period!
Requirements:
2 years of Experience (Preferred)
Good Physical & Mental health
Nice Personality
Dependable
Love to Care for Elderly or Disabled Individuals
Ability to Assist Residents with ADLs
Ability to Cook for Multiple People
Ability to Provide a Clean & Safe Work Environment
Ability to Follow Instructions and Facility Rules
Ability to Pass Medications
Ability to Operate Hoyer Lift (Preferred)
Ability to Give Insulin (Preferred)
Ability to Work a 5-7 Day Live-In Shift
