The Home Care Agency Supervisor will oversee daily operations, supervise caregivers, and ensure compliance with state regulations and agency policies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, and has a strong background in home care management and client service.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise, schedule, and support caregivers to ensure consistent, quality client care.
Conduct home visits and quality assurance checks with clients and families.
Oversee client intake, service plans, and caregiver assignments.
Ensure compliance with state licensing requirements, company policies, and documentation standards.
Prepare and participate in audits and surveys conducted by regulatory agencies.
Handle incident reports, client concerns, and caregiver performance evaluations
Collaborate with HR to recruit, train, and onboard new caregivers.
Maintain accurate records and reports in agency management systems.
Support the coordination of after-hours or emergency client needs as needed.
Monitor patient outcomes and satisfaction levels, using feedback to inform service improvements.
Conduct regular staff meetings to discuss performance, challenges, and areas for improvement.
Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources, healthcare providers, and community organizations.
Promote the agency's services through outreach and marketing initiatives.
Engage in community activitiesand health fairs to promote goodwill and promote agency awareness.
Qualifications
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory role within home care, home health, or healthcare administration.
Strong understanding of non-medical home care regulations and compliance standards.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in scheduling software and documentation systems (e.g., ClearCare, WellSky, AlayaCare, etc.).
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
CNA, LVN, or related healthcare background preferred but not required.
