Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Day Porter to manage the daily cleaning, maintenance, and operational tasks for a commercial property located at 6222 Richmond. The ideal candidate will ensure the property is well-maintained, safe, and clean for tenants and visitors, providing exceptional attention to detail and upholding high standards of service. The role requires excellent communication, multitasking skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks, including maintaining AC units and chillers (Floors 1-8), ensuring the cleanliness of garages, stairwells, and exterior areas, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces such as doors, elevator buttons, and glass surfaces.
- Clean and restock restrooms (Floors 1-8) and common areas, ensuring all supplies are available and surfaces are spotless.
- Handle weekly and bi-weekly cleaning tasks, such as cleaning railings, polishing elevator buttons, and removing cobwebs.
- Respond to tenant and management requests, assist with minor maintenance tasks, and collaborate with building engineers to address property repairs.
- Organize and secure janitorial closets, maintain inventory levels, and follow safety and cleaning protocols.
- Conduct end-of-day walkthroughs to ensure tasks are completed and logged, submitting daily maintenance reports to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in cleaning, maintenance, or a related field. (Prefered)
