Speedy Delivery and Home Services is seeking a dedicated and reliable delivery team driver and helper. You will be responsible for ensuring timely and professional furniture delivery and installation to our valued customers.
Responsibilities:
- Arrive at the warehouse every morning to verify and load various customer orders.
- Run daily delivery routes across the greater Houston area until all furniture / appliances deliveries are completed.
- Occasionally connect and hook up appliances according to company guidelines and safety protocols.
- Pick up and remove old appliances from customers' homes, ensuring they are handled carefully and disposed of properly.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle, ensuring all necessary tools and equipment are available and in good condition.
- Return to the warehouse at the end of the day to drop off any returns and complete necessary paperwork.
- Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, professional, and responsive to customer needs and inquiries.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures.
Schedule:
- Sunday through Monday
- At least 2 days off per week
- Full Time
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in appliance delivery, furniture moving, or commercial box truck driving is desired.
- Must be 21 years old or older.
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift and move heavy appliances and furniture safely.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
