Bran Construction, LLC is hiring an expert drywall hanger/installer for interior remodel projects in Houston, TX. This role requires speed, precision, and experience to hang full sheets of drywall in commercial and residential interiors. This is not a drywall patch or repair position — only full hanging/installation work.
Responsibilities:
Hang drywall sheets (walls, ceilings, soffits, fur-outs, and framed openings)
Install backing/blocking as required for drywall finish and MEP trades
Properly fasten sheets to minimize seams and ensure tight, flush finishes
Assist with layout, cutting, and fitment around openings and penetrations
Work alongside project lead and finishers to keep schedule moving
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional worksite
Requirements:
✅ 7+ years of drywall hanging/installation experience
✅ Must have own tools and reliable transportation
✅ Ability to follow layouts and direction from project lead
✅ Comfortable working in active remodel environments (commercial/residential)
✅ Able to lift 75+ lbs, handle 12’ and 16’ boards, and work on ladders/lifts
✅ Punctual, dependable, and detail-oriented
Nice to Have:
Experience working in multi-family or commercial remodel projects
Ability to work with drywall finishers or lead small crews
