Job Title: Fence Crew Member (Truck and Trailer Driver)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Fence Crew Member who is capable of driving a truck and trailer to transport materials, equipment, and tools to job sites. This position requires a strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work as part of a team to install fences efficiently and with high quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Truck and Trailer Operation: Safely drive a company truck and trailer to and from job sites, ensuring the transport of personnel, fencing materials, tools, and equipment.
Fence Installation: Assist with the installation of metal fences according to project specifications and customer needs.
Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by clearing debris, measuring areas for accurate fence placement, and ensuring the work area is safe for the crew.
Material Handling: Unload, transport, and organize materials and equipment at job sites, ensuring everything is readily available for installation.
Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers, if necessary, to ensure satisfaction and resolve any concerns during the installation process.
Maintenance and Safety: Perform regular maintenance on the truck, trailer, and tools to ensure they are in good working order. Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures to minimize risks.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other crew members to ensure timely and efficient fence installations. Support the crew lead and other team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications:
Valid Driver’s License: A clean driving record with a valid driver’s license is required. CDL preferred but not required.
Experience: Previous experience in fence installation, general construction, or similar physical labor preferred but not required.
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy materials, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and perform manual labor for extended periods.
Safety-Oriented: Strong understanding of safety protocols related to driving, lifting, and job site operations.
Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with crew members, supervisors, and customers.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
Knowledge of fence types, tools, and installation techniques.
Experience driving larger vehicles and handling trailers.
Ability to work independently and take initiative when required.
Compensation:
Competitive hourly wage based on experience. Overtime available for extended hours.
