Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Operations & Collections Specialist to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in collections, insurance verification, and various finance-related tasks within the auto industry. This role requires exceptional communication skills, analytical thinking, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
Collections Management:
Initiate contact with delinquent customers to facilitate timely payment of outstanding balances.
Develop and implement effective collection strategies to reduce overdue accounts.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of collection activities and customer interactions.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer disputes and payment discrepancies.
Insurance Verification:
Verify insurance coverage for financed vehicles through effective communication with insurance providers.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of insurance-related documents.
Maintain comprehensive records of insurance verification activities and escalate issues as needed.
Assist customers in understanding insurance requirements and resolving any related queries.
Customer Service:
Serve as a point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, and providing information.
Communicate effectively to explain financial terms, payment options, and obligations to customers.
Assist customers in understanding the implications of various financial decisions and provide guidance as needed.
Data Integrity and Analysis:
Maintain accurate and organized records of collections efforts, and insurance verification outcomes.
Qualifications:
Previous Finance, Bank or Auto Related Business Experience, Spanish is a plus but not required.
Proven experience in collections, insurance verification, and finance-related tasks, preferably within the auto industry.
Detail-oriented mindset with exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment.
