We are seeking a motivated and dependable Shop Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will handle a variety of tasks that are crucial to the smooth operation of our products. You will be a part of our daily operations, supporting both our production and service teams. Your role will involve managing inventory, assisting with order fulfillment, and ensuring our shop area remains organized and efficient.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Keep the area clean and organized, ensuring that products are stored properly, and that the workspace is free of hazards.
· Operate warehouse equipment, such as power tools, forklifts and pallet jacks. Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment.
· Work closely with other warehouse staff, such as inventory managers, order pickers, and shipping coordinators, to ensure smooth operations.
· Safely load goods onto the delivery vehicle, ensuring that they are securely placed to prevent damage during transit. Deliver packages or goods to the specified addresses, ensuring that they reach the correct recipients.
· Assemble products in a safe yet efficient manner following specifications.
· Follow all company safety policies and procedures along with quality standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Must have a valid Texas Driver License and acceptable driving record
· Ability to read a tape measure down to the 16th
· Strong attention to detail
· Able to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
· Reliable transportation
· Must pass Drug, Alcohol, tobacco test and medical physical
· Bilingual is a plus but not required
