We are urgently seeking a full-time Paralegal with Insurance Defense or Personal Injury experience to join our team. Candidate must specialize in handling medical records. Have the ability to sort and review medical records with ease. Candidate must possess the following skillset; excellent written and verbal communication, be a team player with a good work ethic, be highly organized in order to multi-task and monitor multiple attorney’s fast paced docket. This paralegal position will provide support for multiple attorneys. This position is NOT a remote position. The hours are 8am to 5pm - Monday thru Friday
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Open New Files: Gather Specific Information,
Order and Review Medical Records,
Prepare Exhibits for Contested Case Hearings,
Maintain Calendar / Attorney Docket to Meet Deadlines,
Assist in Drafting and Reviewing of Legal Documents,
eFiling Motions, Petitions and Subpoenas.
Qualifications:
"4yr Degree or a Paralegal Certificate Required "
2yrs.+ Legal Office Experience
Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
A Pleasant, Team Player, Dependable, Efficient and Organized
Ability to Prioritize and Multitask Work to Meet Deadlines
Detail-Oriented – Format Legal Documents and Correspondence Professionally
