Paralegal/Legal Assistant – Bilingual is a plus, not required (Riverway Area)
Riverway Area Personal Injury Law Firm has an immediate opening for a paralegal / legal assistant position. The firm is a fast-paced personal injury law firm. Support for two personal injury associates along with support to the primary/owner attorney. Law firm experience is required. Must be a self-starter and able to maintain each attorneys docket. Must be a team player.
Punctuality is a must;
Bilingual not required but a plus (English - Spanish);
Experience with Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook a must;
Typing skills must be adequate (at least 50 WPM);
Ordering Medical Records daily;
Organize Files;
Internet Research;
Scheduling of Depositions and Court Reporters;
Must maintain incoming & outgoing correspondence;
Must be able to propound and respond to discovery request; and
Assist attorney with Discovery Requests and Responses;
Must possess impeccable organizational skills. Must maintain a presentable work area. Work attire is business casual.
Client interaction via the phone is required and applicants must display professionalism.
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30 – 5:30 p.m.
Compensation: Hourly Rate dependent upon experience.
