Position: Case Manager / Paralegal – Personal Injury Law
A well-established personal injury law firm is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Case Manager/Paralegal to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and client-focused professional to contribute to a fast-paced and rewarding legal practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft and send correspondence to insurance companies
Verify insurance coverage and determine liability
Monitor case progress and maintain accurate case files
Request, review, and organize medical records and billing
Maintain regular communication with clients and provide case updates
Review and prepare demand packages for submission to insurance carriers
Manage all pre-litigation case tasks to ensure efficient and effective resolution
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a law firm or familiarity with medical records and billing is preferred
Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and a strong work ethic
Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well under pressure
Professional appearance and demeanor
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent verbal and written communication, including phone etiquette
Proficient computer skills and familiarity with legal case management software
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):
Bilingual (Spanish preferred)
Background in personal injury law
Knowledge of insurance claims handling and related processes
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Compensation:
Compensation is commensurate with experience and will be discussed during the interview process.
