Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This entry-level position requires mechanical aptitude and the willingness to learn physical skills, as well as some heavy lifting and the ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
The ideal candidate will work individually or as part of a small team to safely complete production tasks that may include working with a press operator to produce sheet metal parts, putting together small mechanical assemblies, hanging or removing parts and products from an overhead paint line conveyor, sanding or preparing assemblies for final prime paint touch-up and finishing assembly or packaging of products.
Responsibilities
Assist in the assembly of products on the production line, following established procedures and safety guidelines.
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
Support warehouse operations, including inventory management and material handling as needed.
Qualifications
Previous factory or warehouse experience is preferred.
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production needs.
Current authorization to work in the US.
