We are seeking a qualified individual to lead daily shop operations in a woodworking manufacturing environment with a team of 70–80 employees. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing production, staff management, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Supervise daily plant operations including material flow, machining, assembly, finishing, and shipping.
Ensure materials are properly received, stored, tracked, and reported according to company procedures.
Direct, coach, and mentor shop staff in productivity, quality standards, and safety practices.
Monitor overtime and labor allocation to stay within budget guidelines.
Maintain accountability of materials, supplies, and work orders through audits and reporting.
Review and improve operating procedures, equipment uses, and space utilization.
Oversee scheduling, loading, and progress of production jobs to meet deadlines.
Ensure accurate completion of routine paperwork, logs, and production reports.
Support management in maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Provide guidance on complex technical and operational issues.
Participate in hiring, training, performance reviews, and discipline as needed.
Requirements:
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
Proven experience in supervision or management role (woodworking, millwork, or manufacturing preferred).
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
