CNC Machine Shop - Operations Manager
Salaried Position 45+ hours per week
Machine Shop looking for CNC Machinist ready to manage full operation.
Qualifications:
1 Year Management experience, motivating and counseling production team
5+ years' experience CNC Machining
CAD/CAM Experience a plus
Assist and direct machinist during setups & program editing as needed
Quoting new work and working with existing customers
Manage jobs from order to completion.
The ideal candidate will bring machine experience and basic people management skills. General machine shop knowledge with Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Responsibilities:
· Read & interpret prints & drawings to setup, edit & machine parts to tight specifications & tolerances
· Maintain tolerances within +/-.0003” for bearing bores
· Personal Tooling preferred.
· Ability to manage a safe shop and keep a safe and clean working environment.
· Responsible for documentation generated or related to production of the job.
· Be punctual, reliable, and have a strong attention to detail.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements.
Computer savvy, strong excel and outlook
Basic reading, writing, and mathematics skills.
Ability to work well with others.
Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbal and written.
High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
