Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packaging Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for packaging products in compliance with FDA regulations and CGMP standards. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to operate various machinery, including logic controllers and forklifts. The Packaging Operator will work in a warehouse environment, ensuring that all products are assembled, fabricated, and packaged efficiently and safely.
Rotating Shift: Monday-Sunday : 6am -6pm / 6pm-6am / 12hr / shift rotation days and nights / Must be available on weekends as needed
Responsibilities
Operate packaging machinery and equipment, including logic controllers, to ensure efficient production processes.
Assemble and fabricate packaging materials as needed for various products.
Follow FDA regulations and CGMP guidelines to maintain product quality and safety standards.
Utilize hand tools effectively to complete packaging tasks.
Perform routine maintenance on packaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Safely operate forklifts Sit-down Forklift and Manual Pallet Jacks for the movement of materials within the warehouse.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Requirements
Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in operating packaging machinery.
Familiarity with FDA regulations and CGMP standards is highly desirable.
Experience working in a warehouse environment is preferred.
Ability to use hand tools effectively for assembly and fabrication tasks.
Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
