Global Pipe Manufacturer seeking pipe yard supervisor for immediate hire!
Bilingual, English/Spanish Preferred
Job Description:
Planning each day’s activities, discussing the plan with team members, and ensuring that the plan is executed for company Pipe’s Yard function.
Planning and controlling daily work schedule for Yard. Controlling manpower and man-hours.
Overseeing incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.
Scheduling and shipping materials for Customer’s releases.
Preparing of documents: such as bill of lading, load tallies for trucks, etc.
Ensuring that yard inventory is maintained by customer, size, wall thickness, mill manufacture, etc.
To ensure that the yard is managed according to Company policy and procedures, make timely decisions, and take corrective action wherever necessary.
Daily report of vehicle and yard equipment maintenance is maintained.
Other responsibilities related to Yard / Inventory / Shipping / Receiving as assigned by the Reporting Manager.
