Receptionist/Intake Specialist - Family Law Office
Position Overview
We are seeking a professional, compassionate, and detail-oriented Receptionist/Intake Specialist to join our family law practice. This role serves as the first point of contact for clients during sensitive legal matters and requires excellent communication skills, discretion, and organizational abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and visitors to the office in a warm, professional manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, take detailed messages, and manage the general office email inbox
- Schedule and coordinate client consultations, meetings, and court appearances
- Conduct initial client intake interviews, gathering essential information and documentation
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all client information and legal matters
- Process legal documents and maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
- Handle basic office administration including mail processing, scanning, copying, and supply management
- Coordinate with attorneys and legal staff to ensure smooth office operations
- Process client payments and maintain basic accounting records
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required; Associate's degree preferred
- 2+ years of reception or customer service experience
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Outstanding organizational and multitasking skills
- Professional demeanor and attention to detail
- Experience with legal software preferred but not required

- Bilingual abilities (Spanish/English) a plus

Schedule
- Full-time, Monday-Friday
- 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- Occasional flexibility may be required
