Assistant Sales Supervisor - Moving Services
Build, lead, and inspire a high-performance sales team
We are growing and looking for an energetic Assistant Sales Supervisor who loves coaching, process, and results. In this role you will mentor a team of Sales Representatives, sharpen their skills in the field and online, and ensure every prospect receives an accurate, compliant, and customer-first experience.
What you will do
Field mentorship: Ride along with new and experienced reps at least three times per week, roughly 50% of your time, to observe, coach, and uplevel execution in real time
Remote coaching: Run a weekly virtual sales huddle that aligns goals, reviews pipeline, and teaches practical skills
Performance development: Deliver in-home coaching, call reviews, written feedback, and individualized improvement plans
Quoting excellence: Ensure every estimate is accurate and compliant with our standard quoting requirements, valuation coverage rules, double drive time, and storage quoting standards
Playbook and strategy: Hold the team to our proven sales process while testing self-generation tactics that increase revenue and average ticket
Onboarding and training: Ramp new hires through classroom sessions and ride-alongs, with clear milestones and assessments
Lead management: Personally work high-value inbound leads by phone, text, and email, then model world-class follow-up for the team
Cross-functional coordination: Partner with Operations to confirm scope, schedules, and handoffs that protect margin and delight customers
Metrics and accountability: Track contact rate, set rate, in-home rate, book rate, revenue, average ticket, follow-up SLAs, and win-loss reasons. Publish daily and weekly scorecards
Culture building: Reinforce strong habits, correct off-track behavior quickly, and celebrate wins the moment they happen
You will thrive in this role if you
Lead from the front and enjoy coaching in the field
Communicate clearly on the phone, in writing, and face to face
Are organized, data-driven, and calm under pressure
Know the moving business and how to quote within tarrif guidelines
Are proficient with CRMs and quoting tools, ideally SmartMoving
Can set pace, hold the team accountable, and earn trust through consistency
Required
Moving sales experience, at least 1 year
Team lead or supervision experience, 3 years
CRM proficiency, strong phone presence, and reliable local travel
Nice to have
Bilingual Spanish and English
Experience managing sales teams in moving or logistics
Relationships with realtors, senior communities, or corporate accounts
Compensation and schedule
Weekly base pay plus commission on booked jobs
Full-time, 40 hours, Monday to Friday
Paid weekly
Hybrid schedule: initial training in office, then flexible office and remote split

Team quota attainment, conversion rates across the funnel, quote accuracy and compliance, follow-up speed, customer satisfaction, and quality of coaching feedback
