About Us:
We are a small but growing Buy Here Pay Here car dealer with approximately 85 active in-house accounts. Our operation is lean, honest, and built on trust. We’re looking for a driven Sales Manager — someone who loves selling, knows the car business, and understands how to keep a small dealership running efficiently day to day.
Role Overview:
This is a hands-on position, ideal for someone with strong sales experience and basic mechanical or shop knowledge. You’ll work closely with the owner to manage the daily flow of the lot, but your main focus will be selling vehicles.
Since collections and back-office operations are handled externally, you’ll dedicate most of your time to sales, customer follow-up, posting inventory, and keeping the lot moving.
Responsibilities:
Sell vehicles directly to customers — minimum of 5 to 6 units per month required.
This minimum ensures a guaranteed base of $2,500 per month, plus an additional $500 for assisting the owner with basic shop coordination, bringing the total regular base to $3,000.
On top of that, you’ll earn commissions per vehicle sold and performance bonuses.
Typical monthly earnings range between $4,500 and $5,000 with minimum sales.
If you reach 10 to 12 sales per month, total monthly earnings can easily reach $6,000 to $6,500 or more.
Post and manage inventory on Facebook Marketplace and other online platforms.
Coordinate with the owner and mechanic to ensure cars are ready for sale.
Maintain a professional and organized dealership lot.
Handle light shop coordination only as needed. In the first few weeks you may assist with small parts orders, but this task will soon be handled by the owner’s team, giving you more time to focus on sales and growth.
Keep communication consistent and transparent with the owner.
Requirements:
Proven experience in car sales (Buy Here Pay Here preferred).
Basic understanding of mechanical or shop processes.
Reliable, trustworthy, and self-motivated.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Compensation and Growth:
Base salary: $3,000 per month ($2,500 + $500 shop support).
Commissions: Per unit sold (structure discussed in interview).
Bonuses: For hitting sales targets and assisting with daily operations.
Typical monthly earnings: $4,500 to $5,000 with minimum sales.
High performers (10–12 units per month) can earn $6,000 to $6,500 or more.
