Duties

Attend and run compelling sales presentations during company-scheduled, pre-set appointments with qualified homeowners.

Educate clients about the benefits of renewable energy and guide them through the solar sales process.

Confidently address customer concerns, handle objections, and finalize the sale of solar energy solutions.

Negotiate terms and close deals efficiently, accurately managing all sales documentation and utilizing CRM software (like Salesforce) to track progress.

Build strong customer relationships by providing exceptional service throughout the closing process.

Collaborate with the appointment setting and installation teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale to completion.

Requirements

Proven experience as a closer in solar sales, energy, or a related high-ticket, in-home sales field, with a track record of closing deals effectively.

Technical knowledge of solar products, systems, and financial/lease options is strongly preferred.

Strong negotiation skills with the ability to handle objections confidently and professionally.

Familiarity with CRM software (such as Salesforce or similar platforms) for managing customer data and finalizing contracts.

Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—to articulate the value of going solar clearly.

Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus to connect with diverse client bases.

Must be outcome-oriented and able to meet individual sales goals.
