Lead Installation Technician - Architectural Signage and Graphics

RS Industrial Arts collaborates with Architects, Design Firms, General Contractors, and other industry front-runners to plan, build, and implement custom architectural signage, environmental graphics, and branding solutions for a wide variety of projects that include interior and exterior building graphics, site and parking garage signage as well as custom architectural elements, specialized landscape features, and unique sculpture. We are currently seeking to add a Lead Installation Technician to our team.

The successful candidate will:

Install various types of signage to include: Illuminated and Non-Illuminated Monuments, Illuminated Channel Letters, Dimensional Lettering, as well as ADA Signage, Vinyl Graphics & Films, and Digitally Printed Graphics in both Interior and Exterior Conditions. The candidate will work closely with the Installation Manager and other departments to ensure accurate scheduling, timely execution, and the safe and quality installation of all projects.

and possess:

experience using a variety of tools and equipment including: tape measures, levels, drills, saws, etc…

experience with low-voltage LED lighting and electrical applications, wiring and troubleshooting.

ability to read and understand fabrication and architectural drawings.

an understanding of fabrication and production methods utilized in the production of signage.

at least 4 years of experience with a signage manufacturer or similar trade.

Valid Driver’s License

Other valued skills and qualifications (not all necessary for employment):

basic computer skills

basic knowledge of Welding, Carpentry, and Masonry

experience operating or working around Cranes, Bucket Trucks, and Lifts

Journeyman’s Electrician License

Rigging Certification

CCO License

OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Card

Vinyl Application Certification

CDL

Evening and weekend hours as well as out-of-town travel may be required.

This is a full-time position and is benefits eligible after 90-days

Compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
